The Admiral Gratton Legacy Farm is a private equine farm located on 100 acres just 45 minutes north of Toronto. We are approximately 45-60 minutes away from the best equine hospitals in Ontario if further surgical or diagnostic services are required.
Our professionally designed facility includes every possible amenity and makes an ideal setting for Rehabilitation, Lay-up or Boarding. All stalls and paddocks are situated so that horses can see each other, an important factor for keeping those on stall rest quiet! As well, Impact Control Footing has been installed so that horses are worked on a surface that supports and cushions with the right amount of ‘give’.
Clients and visitors often remark on the tranquility of our farm and calmness of the horses. We believe that providing a safe and calm environment for horses accelerates their healing of body and mind. Structured daily routines performed by familiar staff keep the horses relaxed and happy.

-Hacking and conditioning trails
-Viewing areas for owners/trainers to watch exercise programs being executed
-Ventilation and temperature control systems
-Heated treatment area
-Safe areas to hand graze horses that are on restricted exercise
-Veterinarian, Therapist and Farrier Bay
-Wash bays next to box stalls for horses on extremely restricted movement for bandage changes, wound cleansing, etc.
